An established multi-site private practice, specializing in eye health care for all ages, has an immediate full-time opportunity to work directly with patients in the exam room! We are seeking a responsible individual to be join our clinical team as an Optometric Patient Specialist. This is an unique opportunity to provide unmatched patient care in a Team Focused environment.

Essential Duties:

Screening patients, including pre-testing and data entry
Communicating patient needs to the doctor
Explaining details of patient care
Assisting with the organization and ordering of contact lens trials
Liaison between doctors and specialty contact lens cases
Ordering, tracking and dispensing specialty contacts
Tracking optical orders and establishing ETAs for patients
Maintaining/organizing contact lens orders and optical orders

Secondary Duties:

Maintain records, schedule appointments, authorize insurances, correspondence, and filing
Assist with contact lens orders
Assist in light cleaning and maintaining the office appearance
Assist with optical orders

Job Requirements:
Education / Experience- High School diploma or equivalent

Salary Negotiable
Optometry Experience is Preferred but not Required. Sales or Food Service experience is preferred

Full-time benefits package (Including health, dental, vision benefits, 401k, Life Insurance and paid vacation)

Must be able to work M-F, including Tuesday evenings and Saturday from 9am-1pm
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29,120.00 - $37,440.00 per year
