Meet The Team

Robert Hileman

Rob joined the Ridgeview Eye Care team as Chief Operating Officer in 2021, relocating back to the area after spending 15 years in southern Oregon.

Originally from the Overland Park area, Rob has spent more than 20 years in medical management and administration; most of that time in Optometry, Ophthalmology and Dentistry. He originally started as an optician and Optometric technician while studying Human Biology at the University of Kansas, then continued building experience in operational management of medical practices.

Rob enjoys all areas of managing the practice but specializes in building a strong team environment that will give the team the best tools to succeed and provide an unmatched patient experience. Her particularly enjoys focusing on the patient encounter and what we can do to excel in our care and education of our families.

In his spare time Rob loves to spend time with his amazing twin daughters and wife Jeana. Not one to sit for too long, he loves to get involved in the community as well. Rob has been a part of many community-based programs (ex; Rotary, Chamber of Commerce) and jokes that he has been a politician (spending time as a school board director for 11 years). He has helped struggling Booster Clubs thrive and is an avid sports lover. Rob has coached youth soccer for more than 25 years and has coached at most levels of competition. He loves his Jayhawks, Sporting KC, Chiefs and Royals.

Optical Department

Amanda Curry, ABOC

Amanda has been a part of our team since 2013 and serves as the Optical Team Lead for our organization. With her American Board of Opticianry certification, Amanda's expertise in the optical field is unmatched. She has dedicated countless hours to expanding her knowledge through continuing education, ensuring that she stays at the forefront of the latest industry advancements.

Amanda's family includes her husband Chris and their two daughters, Janda and Kenzie. Her love for her family extends to her furry companions as well. She is a fur-mom to two dogs, Shandy and Arlo, creating a lively and vibrant household.

In her free time, Amanda finds joy in deadlifting, a testament to her strength and determination. Another delightful aspect of Amanda's personality is her affinity for glitter. Whether it's adding a touch of sparkle to her own life or creating a sense of wonder in the lives of others, Amanda's enthusiasm for glitter brings a touch of magic and excitement to everything she does.

Amanda's passion for her work, dedication to her family, and vibrant personality make her a valued member of our team. Her expertise, combined with her love for life's little joys, sets her apart and makes her an inspiration to us all.

Brittani Brandt

Brittani has been a member of the optical team since 2019 where she started as an Eyewear Stylist. These days Brittani oversees each pair of glasses from the time that they are ordered by our patient, through the lab proces until the time that they are checked in. Once they arrive back in our lab. Her high level of attention to detail ensures your glasses are ordered in a timely fashion and with 100% accuracy.

Brittani was born and raised in Wichita, KS before she moved to Spring Hill in 2019. She graduated from Wichita State University with a degree in Psychology. Before joining the Ridgeview Eye Care team, she spent several years working in El Dorado, KS at the Butler County newspaper selling print and digital advertising. In her free time, she enjoys traveling back to Wichita to spend time with family, exploring the KC area with her husband, Matthew, going to concerts and sporting events, and hanging out with her chocolate lab, Dottie.

Megan Rodgers

Megan loves everything coffee! She worked at Starbucks for seven years, so coffee is literally in her blood at this point. In her spare time, you can find her working out and watching Royals games with her family! It needs to be noted that Megan will be a Swiftie forever, but when she's not listening to Taylor Swift she likes to read, play with her dog named Monte, hangout with her neice and try out new coffee shops!

Traveling, especially to New York is at the top of Megan's list of favorite things to do. She is also passionate about styling clothing, especially sneakers. She is a true sneaker head and her favorites are Jordan 1s and Jordan 4s!

Lauren Cruz

Lauren currently resides in Olathe. Coming from a background in fine dining she brings great customer service and knowledge to our team. She has three amazing kids and a husband that she adores. In her free time she eats alot of food, and her favorite is authentic Mexican. She's actually a queso enthusiast, but loves trying new spots for unique food and cocktails. Lauren is obsessed with music and loves going to concerts. She claims to be the BIGGEST Chiefs fan, and her family and friends love a good Superbowl party! In between these activities you can find her sneaking in a nap.

Emilee Holscher

Emilee is the Dry Eye Coordinator. She has over seven years of customer service experience, and is dedicated to improving the lives of others by making them feel their very best inside and out. You will find her at our check-out desk, where she will personally order your contacts and maximize your benefits to sensure you get the best value possible for your contact lenses! She values the personalized experience with patients and will go above and beyond to make sure they leave feeling comfortable and confident after their appointment.

Emiliee is also a licensed esthetician and makeup artist, and her work has been featureed in KC Fashion Week as well as a couple of other local fashion magazines! She spends most of her free time exploring downtown Kansas City with her partner, where they frequently visit the Nelson Atkins and try local food joints. She also enjoys relaxing at hom with her two cats, Buddha and Charlie. Emilee is excited to apply her passion for people and versatility to the optial field!

Clinical Department

Betsy Folkers

Betsy was honored to join the Ridgeview Eye Care team in April of 2023. Betsy Is Native to Iowa,GO! HAWKEYE'S! Betsy comes with several years experience in the healthcare industry starting out caring for the older population and Physical Therapy, Betsy has a kind and caring heart towards the geriatric community and enjoys listening to all the stories they share. Cold Hands do in fact equal a warm heart!

When Betsy is not working, she is a busy mom of three beautiful Girls, Cailyn 16, Isabella 11 and Sadie 8. Betsy enjoys being outdoors on nice days mowing, gardening and roasting marshmallows by the fire pit. Betsy feels most at peace when she is next to the water. Lake days and relaxing pool days are a must in the summer months.

Betsy is excited to be a part of the Ridgeview Team and looks forward to growing her eye care experience alongside her amazing Ridgeview Friends!
