Rob joined the Ridgeview Eye Care team as Chief Operating Officer in 2021, relocating back to the area after spending 15 years in southern Oregon.
Originally from the Overland Park area, Rob has spent more than 20 years in medical management and administration; most of that time in Optometry, Ophthalmology and Dentistry. He originally started as an optician and Optometric technician while studying Human Biology at the University of Kansas, then continued building experience in operational management of medical practices.
Rob enjoys all areas of managing the practice but specializes in building a strong team environment that will give the team the best tools to succeed and provide an unmatched patient experience. Her particularly enjoys focusing on the patient encounter and what we can do to excel in our care and education of our families.
In his spare time Rob loves to spend time with his amazing twin daughters and wife Jeana. Not one to sit for too long, he loves to get involved in the community as well. Rob has been a part of many community-based programs (ex; Rotary, Chamber of Commerce) and jokes that he has been a politician (spending time as a school board director for 11 years). He has helped struggling Booster Clubs thrive and is an avid sports lover. Rob has coached youth soccer for more than 25 years and has coached at most levels of competition. He loves his Jayhawks, Sporting KC, Chiefs and Royals.
Amanda is the Optical Coordinator at Ridgeview Eye Care and she brings more than 15 years of experience in the customer service field with her. She excels in fitting our patients with the perfect frame and lens combination to accentuate their style and maximize their visual performance. Amanda follows each individual, specialized eyewear order from the moment it is selected until it is personalized and fit specifically to you. While you are anxiously awaiting your new pair of glasses, Amanda is right there in the lab cutting the lenses and making sure each individual glasses order is perfect.
Continually improving her knowledge and skills, Amanda jumps at each opportunity to receive further training and education. She has attended national eyewear conferences such as Vision Expo West, Vision Expo East and local conferences such as The Heart of America. Most recently, Amanda completed a 6-month Management Development Program in Dallas, Texas. Amanda is 100% dedicated and passionate about the work she does and exceeding your expectations is her number one priority.
Amanda grew up in Olathe, where she graduated from Olathe East High School. Following high school, she moved to Lawrence, where she currently lives with her husband, Chris, and their daughters, Kenzie and Janda. In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with their two dogs, Shandy and Arlo, lifting weights, reading, and just about anything outdoors (when it is warm).
Brittani has been a member of the optical team since 2019 where she started as an Eyewear Stylist. These days Brittani oversees each pair of glasses from the time that they are ordered by our patient, through the lab proces until the time that they are checked in. Once they arrive back in our lab. Her high level of attention to detail ensures your glasses are ordered in a timely fashion and with 100% accuracy.
Brittani was born and raised in Wichita, KS before she moved to Spring Hill in 2019. She graduated from Wichita State University with a degree in Psychology. Before joining the Ridgeview Eye Care team, she spent several years working in El Dorado, KS at the Butler County newspaper selling print and digital advertising. In her free time, she enjoys traveling back to Wichita to spend time with family, exploring the KC area with her husband, Matthew, going to concerts and sporting events, and hanging out with her chocolate lab, Dottie.
Meet one of our amazing, fashionable, and bilingual eyewear specialists, Jen! Our Spanish speaking eyewear stylist has worked in retail and customer service her whole life. She considers every detail of your day-to-day life to find the best frame and lens fit for your life style. Her incredible attention to detail makes sure that every single pair of glasses that come into our office are made perfect for our patients.
Jen, she has traveled all across the country and overseas. She has three giant fluffy dogs. As a prior vet tech her love for animals is inevitable. Her hobbies include cooking with unique foods, binge watching TV shows and doing any DIY that comes to mind.

Emilee is our Contact Lens Coordinator. She has over seven years of customer service experience, and is dedicated to improving the lives of others by making them feel their very best inside and out. You will find her at our check-out desk, where she will personally order your contacts and maximize your benefits to sensure you get the best value possible for your contact lenses! She values the personalized experience with patients and will go above and beyond to make sure they leave feeling comfortable and confident after their appointment.
Emiliee is also a licensed esthetician and makeup artist, and her work has been featureed in KC Fashion Week as well as a couple of other local fashion magazines! She spends most of her free time exploring downtown Kansas City with her partner, where they frequently visit the Nelson Atkins and try local food joints. She also enjoys relaxing at hom with her two cats, Buddha and Charlie. Emilee is excited to apply her passion for people and versatility to the optial field!
Cassie is our scheduling coordinator. You've probably talked to her if you've ever called the office! Prior to working at Ridgeview Eye Care, Cassie knew something was missing in her career. She loves the patient interaction she gets every day while also being able to grow and learn in the optometric field.
Cassie has the cutest 4-year-old daughter named Mavis. They like to spend a lot of time outdoors with the rest of her big family - espeicially at the Ozarks! Cassie is an aspiring environmentalist and nature lover! Have questions about your daily disposable contact lenses? You can bring them to the office for her to recycle!
Hannah is a part of the technician team here at Ridgeview Eye Care who helps take you through the process of preparing for your exam, from special imaging and tests to get to know what brought you in today to see one of our doctors. She is originally from outside Topeka, moved to Emporia for college to pursue a bachelor's degree in sociology and a minor in psychology.
Hannah was a lead teacher in early childhood and moved up to the Olathe area 6 years ago to work with young toddlers. She has learned so much about the anatomy and working of the eye and sight since starting here and continues to learn and enjoys meeting and working with the patients.
Meet Jazmin, she is a member of our clinical technician team and has been with Ridgeview Eye Care since November of 2020. As one of our bilingual team members, she helps interpret and translate for any Spanish speaking patient in our office and is always happy to provide an unmatched eye care experience. You can also find her at our satellite office located in De Soto, KS.
Jazmin and her husband, Jorge, live in De Soto where they enjoy cooking and spending time with family. She has been in many customer service roles and enjoys going above and beyond for each patient. She is very eager to learn new things and loves learning about new eye care technologies!
Stephanie is a technician on our clinical team! She helps guide our patients through the pretesting area, obtains a case history and listens to your concerns. She is originally from Birmingham, Alabama but has spent several years living in coastal North Carolina and New York. She relocated to Kansas in 2020 with her fiance (Johnny), American Bulldog (Lola) and tabby cat (Phyllis). She is a former Veterinary Technician that fell in love with eyes after working under the President of The American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in New York.
In her free time, she likes to explore the Kansas City area with her fiance, trying new foods and attending sporting events (War Eagle!) and festivals. Stephanie also loves cooking and spending quality time with her family.
Kati is our Dry Eye Coordinator as well as a Clinical Technician. She started in the dermatology field and fell in love with helping people get clean, healthy skin. She learned a lot of valuable knowledge that helped her transition into a field that she's found a true passion for: Dry Eye. This puts together both healthy looking skin and helping patients' feel better on a day to day basis. She genuinely enjoys researching the effects of dry eye, and helping patients better understand why they are feeling this way. She loves that she gets to bring her adoptive technology (IPL) and knowledge from dermatology to help treat dry eye.
On her days off you can find her with her two beautiful daughters, Scout and Sadie, most likely belting Disney hits, or going on a long run with her dog Leo. She is also a full time student and is wanting to pursue more knowledge about skin and eye health to help better the patients she works with. When she is not studying or writing papers, you'll find her working on her third novel.
Jazmin joined the clinical technician team in 2022, after working for over three years as a sales associate. She joined Ridgeview Eye Care after realizing she wanted to expand her abilities in the field of health care. Jazmin brings in vast customer and patient care experience, as well as being a key addition to the bilingual team. From pretesting to listening to any concerns, to ensure you get the best experience at Ridgeview Eye Care.
Jazmin is currently attending Johnson County Community College to obtain her paralegal and legal interpreting certificate. During her free time, she helps manage her brother's business social media. She loves spending time and exploring Kansas City with her boyfriend and dog, Tchala.
Lauren is the Insurance Coordinator for Ridgeview Eye Care. Most of her day is spent contacting different insurance companies on behalf of our patients, to make sure their benefits are contributing as they should be. If you have insurance or billing questions, you will most likely be transferred to Lauren.
Having attended several conferences, Lauren is up to date on all things HIPAA and OSHA. Lauren also runs our safety frame program, working with different companies all over the metro to make sure their employees are properly protected and able to prevent serious eye injuries.
A resident of Shawnee, Lauren graduated from Shawnee Mission North and then continued her education by attending classes at Emporia State University. Lauren was in the banking field for two years before joining our team. In her free time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and their two boys, Maxwell and Whitley, reading, and going to the lake during the hot Kansas summers!
Juanita is a Kansas native and a graduate of Topeka High School. Juanita works in the business center and is one of the first voices you will here when you call our office. As an assistant scheduling coordinator she makes sure we are fully prepared for your appointment. She brings more than twenty years of customer service experience with her, and she loves assisting and interacting with all our patients!
Juanita lives in Lawrence with her dog Foxy and her husband Gary. They have four children and four grandchildren. When not spending time with family, Juanita enjoys listening to crime podcasts, watching horror movies, creating stained glass artwork, and attending theatre. She is a huge fan of the Chiefs and her fellow workmates.
Emma serves as the concierge here at Ridgeview Eye Care. As the first face you see when entering the building she is always ready to make you feel as if you are the number one priority, because you are! How you are welcomed in sets the tone for your appointment and she is here to make sure it’s a great one.
Emma has worked in a variety of customer service positions, from food service to front desk reception. Growing up in Shawnee, KS, Emma went to Shawnee Mission Northwest. After graduating she went on to get her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from JCCC. She has prior experience working the welcome desk at Shawnee Mission Pediatrics, so seeing kids come in for their first pair of glasses are some of her favorite moments. Emma usually spends her free time with her boyfriend Austyn and they’re 8-year-old Carolina/German Shepherd mixed dog, Peli.
Kelsey comes to us with seven years of experience in the optical field, serving as a licensed optician in a retail setting. She has worked in both the customer service and medical fields before going back to school for her first passion in life, teaching. She received her bachelor's from UCM in May of 2020 and is in her second year as a pre-k special education teacher. She is returning to school to complete her master's degree in special education in the fall of 2021. Missing the optical side of things, she works on Saturdays and fills in during school breaks.
Kelsey lives in Independence with her husband and their two dogs, Bryant and Ferdinand. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with their nieces and nephews, taking car rides with her husband and dogs, cooking, and crafting.
